My ideal preceptor would be a nationally board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with at least one year of experience, or a licensed psychiatrist. I also welcome the opportunity to train under licensed clinical social workers and counselors. I’m looking for someone who is available during daytime hours Monday through Friday, or on weekends, and who is approachable, patient, and committed to providing clear, constructive, and honest feedback. A supportive and knowledgeable mentor who is open to questions and invested in teaching would be the perfect fit for my continued professional development.
