Forwarding this from an ANA email. Note there are no Florida representatives on the current list of cosponsors. The link below will take you to a page that makes sending an email to your representative very quick and easy.

Earlier this year, Congressman Jim McDermott (D-WA-7), introduced HR. 3833, legislation to eliminate the physician required signature for ordering DME. Without H.R. 3833, APRNs would no longer be able to order oxygen, home blood glucose monitors, and numerous other DME items without a physician's signature.

The bill has generated 18 cosponsors (13D, 5R) so far. Let's give a round of applause to those members of Congress who have supported us! Thank you Reps. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR-3), Lois Capps (D-CA-24), Michael Capuano (D-MA-7), Mike Coffman (R-CO-6), Joe Courtney (D-CT-2), Peter DeFazio (D-OR-4), Sam Graves (R-MO-6), Denny Heck (D-WA-10), David Joyce (R-OH-14), Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ-2), Zoe Lofgren (D-CA-19), Beto O'Rourke (D-TX16), Charlie Rangel (D-NY-13), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA-40), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-9), Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH-1), Bennie Thompson, (D-MS-2), Don Young, (R-AK)

If you don't see your Congressman on this list-- Contact them TODAY and ask them to co-sponsor our DME Bill.  http://www.rnaction.org/site/Advocacy?pagename=homepage&id=427
