It says:

We, the undersigned, are Florida residents who have received healthcare services from advanced practice nurses in our state.  We can attest that these skilled healthcare professionals are safe, professional, competent and caring.  In my experience advanced practice nurses provide exceptional healthcare services and are an asset to our state.

We, the undersigned, ask that you support legislation that would remove unnecessary barriers on the scope of practice for advanced practice nurses.  This should include extending the ability for them to prescribe controlled substances (medications), initiate a baker act in the cases where it is necessary and sign a death certificate.

We feel that it is time that advanced practices nurses are given the ability to practice to the full extent of their education and training to better meet the healthcare needs of our state.
