Can I ask you to give of your self?

I have been working to secure a method for providing Continuing Education Credits for meetings of the Treasure Coast Group of FNPN via the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). It requires that we join the AANP as a group. I have already secured a sponsor to pay the first year's fee of $200 to join, and I have several great programs that are beginning to come together.

What I need now is a group of 3 or 4 folks, willing to act as the Steering Committee for this group. In addition to regular attendance of program meetings (you may be asked to help out with sign-in sheets, handouts, etc. during the meeting), the time commitment you can anticipate is 30 minutes once or twice a month to meet via telephone conference call. The goal is to keep things very simple: NO titles, face-to-face meetings, fundraisers, bylaws or other energy sapping efforts--just a group of professionals with an authentic desire to give of themselves in order to build a community of like-minded professionals. The only qualification for this post is your desire to serve.
