Extra! Extra! Read All About It! NPCTC Members Elect Inaugural Board of Directors!

Your organization - Nurse Practitioner Council of the Treasure Coast, Inc. - continues to meet its benchmarks and goals, and one of its most important milestones is to hold an election for an official Board of Directors. The By-laws, written by the former Planning Committee and approved by the interim Board of Directors, calls for an official election to be held within 180 days of establishing an interim Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee, chaired by interim Vice President Jennifer Gerring, solicited and vetted a slate of candidates from its active membership, and prepared an official ballot. The election was held electronically in order to provide all active and eligible NPCTC members an opportunity to cast their ballots. We’re pleased to announce that NPCTC met this important goal on-target and on-time. Here are the official results of the 2022 NPCTC Board of Director Elections:
- President - Karin Klause, DNP APRN FNP-C
- Vice President - Teena White, DNP APRN FNP-C
- Treasurer - Maria Cruz, MSN APRN FNP-BC
- Secretary - Elizabeth "Betty" Tsarnas, DNP APRN FNP-BC
- Director - Jennifer Gerring, MSN APRN AGACNP-BC
- Director - Lindsay Tucker, DNP APRN FNP-C
- Immediate Past President* - Theresa "Terri" Pinder, MSN APRN FNP-BC
*Per By-laws, the previous President becomes the Immediate Past President, and is not voted upon by the membership of NPCTC.
