Health Cares About Domestic Violence Day is a nationally-recognized day that takes place annually on the second Wednesday of October. This year, in observance of Yom Kippur, we have rescheduled HCADV Day to Wednesday, October 16th, 2019. Sponsored by Futures Without Violence, the awareness-raising day aims to reach members of the healthcare and advocacy communities to offer education about the critical importance of universal education to promote healthy relationships, address the health impact of abuse and offer warm referrals to domestic violence advocates.

Follow us on Twitter and Instagram, and Like us on Facebook for a countdown of ideas for how to raise awareness about the health impacts of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

Thank you for your continued support,

Lisa James, Director of Health Futures Without Violence
