Dr. B. David Blake, Associate Medical Director of VITAS oversees the medical care and treatment of VITAS patients in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living communities. He also supervises the VITAS team physicians, guides nursing professionals and serves as a resource to practicing physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals nationwide on cautious opioid practices. Up-to-date trends, new ideas and approaches to “Pain Management in the Midst of the Opioid Epidemic” is the opportune topic.
