The Ladies of Jewelia Project, a fundraising program for HANDS Volunteer in Medicine Clinic of St. Lucie County is looking forward to the month of December’s “Tea and Trunk show” project. We are asking you to participate.

HANDS Clinic

HANDS of St. Lucie County provides primary healthcare services and access to a continuum of healthcare to qualified, low-income, uninsured, adult residents of St. Lucie County. Physicians, Dentists, Nurse practitioners and nurses provide volunteer services to help residents get the health care they need. HANDS lost its funding in 2015 and have struggled to remain open, but through generous donors and fundraising projects it has survived. Learn more at www.HANDSofSLC.org

The Jewelia Project

The Jewelia Project was founded from an idea that came from a book called “The Necklace”, a story of 12 women who shared a necklace, one month each for a year. This inspired Greg Childress from G. Alan Fine Jewelry to create and donate a $12,000 necklace to the cause. Each month a lady gets to wear the necklace and raise awareness and funds for the clinic. Over the last 3 years, the project has raised over $500,000 for the clinic. Learn more at www.TheJeweliaProject.org

Mrs. December 2018

The December 2018 “Lady of Jewelia” is Dr. Jennifer Doak, ARNP. She is sponsoring a “Tea and Trunk Show” on Sunday December 2, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm at St. Lucie River Club Ballantrae, Port St. Lucie, FL. Kendra Scott Jewelry will be there and will donate 20 percent of the proceeds back to the clinic. Sunrise Ford has generously become a “Black Tea” sponsor. We hope to have several other vendors for our “Trunk Show”.

Please support our event by purchasing a ticket and coming on December 2nd, sponsoring a table or suggesting a vendor for the event. Tickets are $100. There are many ways to help! Please see the next page for details and I hope to see you at the event! (see attachement for sponsorship info)
